    ISSUE
Users attempting to update Webex Productivity Tools may encounter an error message stating, "Cannot update Productivity Tools because the network or Webex service site is not currently available." This error prevents users from updating the Productivity Tools, which are essential for integrating Webex with other applications like Microsoft Outlook.

    RESOLUTION
    To troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Uninstall the current version of Productivity Tools; see: How Do I Uninstall Webex Productivity Tools?
    2. Download and install the latest version of Productivity Tools from your Webex site; see: Install and Set Up Webex Productivity Tools for Windows
      • Note: Contact your IT department if you do not have permission to install software.

If the issue persists, contact Webex Technical Support. For help, see How Do I Contact Webex Customer Services or Technical Support?

    CAUSE
This issue may occur if the user is in a locked-down environment and does not have the necessary permissions to install or update software. Network restrictions or temporary unavailability of the Webex service site can also contribute to this error.
