Use this article to configure the Salesforce Connected App that is used by Cisco Webex Contact Center.

1 | Log in to Salesforce. | ||
2 | Click Setup at the top-right corner of the page. | ||
3 | In the Quick Find box, enter App Manager to get to the Lightning Experience App Manager. | ||
4 | Click New Connected App. | ||
5 | Update the basic information as needed, such as the connected app name and your email address. | ||
6 | Select Enable OAuth Settings. | ||
7 | Enter http://localhost:1717/OauthRedirect as a sample callback URL. | ||
8 | Select Use digital signatures. | ||
9 | Upload the digital (X.509) certificate. | ||
10 | Add appropriate OAuth scopes. | ||
11 | Uncheck the Required Secret for Web Server Flow option. | ||
12 | Click Save. | ||
13 | From the API (Enable OAuth Settings) section, click Copy and save the Consumer Key. The consumer key is required to create the Salesforce Connector on Control Hub. | ||

15 | In the OAuth Policies section, select Admin approved users are pre-authorized for Permitted Users, and click OK. | ||
16 | Click Save. | ||

18 | Select the user profiles that will be used to access the Connected App.
