Feedback?Learn how to transfer a call on your Cisco Wireless Phone 9821. This Help article is for Cisco Wireless Phone 9821 registered to Cisco Unified Communications Manager (Unified CM).
Use the Transfer softkey to redirect an active call to another destination. When you initiate a transfer, the active call is placed on hold. Once the transfer is complete, the call ends on your phone.
Consult and transfer to a new call
When you transfer a call, you can wait until the other person to answer. This allows you to make sure that the other person is available to have a conversation with the caller before you remove yourself from the call.

On an active call, press More |

Dial the phone number who you want to transfer the call or select an entry from your recent calls. |

Press Call. |

Talk to the call reciever, when answered. |

Press Transfer to complete the transfer. Before the receiver answers the call, you can also press
Transfer and complete the transfer.

Transfer to a call that is on hold
You can transfer a call to another a person who has been put on hold.

On an active call, press More |

Press the Up or Down arrow on the Navigation Cluster to highlight a call that is on hold. All held calls appear above the dialing input box, irrespective of the line.

Press Transfer to complete the transfer. |
Transfer to speed dial
You can transfer a call to speed dial.

Press the Left arrow on the Navigation Cluster to expand the Lines panel. |

Press the Up or Down arrow to highlight a speed dial line. |

Press Select. |

Talk to the call reciever, when answered. |
