Webex App | Choose when your call control window pops up

You can choose whether your call control window pops up when you get a call. For example, if you're part of a Contact Center and you use Finesse to answer and manage your calls, you don't need the Webex App call window to pop up when you answer a call. You can minimize your distractions by keeping this call control window hidden.

Click your profile picture, go to Settings > Calling, and then scroll to Call Window Settings.

Using the drop-down menus, specify when you want your call control window to pop up.

Whatever option you choose here applies to all phone calls and Webex App calls.

  • When using this computer for calls:

    • On all calls—You always want your call control window to pop up when you get a call.

    • Auto-minimize calls—You always want your call control window to minimize when you get a call.

  • When using a desk phone or video device for calls:

    • On all calls—You always want your call window to pop up on your desktop when you get a call.

    • Auto-minimize calls—You always want your call control window to minimize when you get a call.
