Attach files to text messages and emails
Before you begin
Your administrator must have configured the following:
- Enabled attachments in digital channels. To know more about the configuration details, see the Settings section in the Webex Engage Admin and Setup Guide for Webex Contact Center. This is applicable only for outbound text and email messages.
- Configured the maximum file size, file types and formats, and the maximum number of files that you can upload. To know more about the file types that are supported across all digital channels for regular attachments, see Supported attachment types for digital channels in Webex Contact Center.
Attachments that don’t fulfill the PCI (Payment Card Industry) rule are dropped and grayed out. Click the information icon to see the error message with reason. To know more about PCI compliance, see PCI compliance section in the Webex Contact Center Setup and Administration Guide.
