Provide customers with more information by including a file when you respond in Webex Contact Center Desktop.
Attach a file to a text message
Before you begin
- The maximum file size, file formats, and the maximum number of files that you can upload are configured by your administrator.
- Attachments that don’t fulfill the PCI (Payment Card Industry) rule are dropped and grayed out. Click the information icon to see the error message with reason.

Drag and drop the attachments into the compose box or click the Attachment icon and browse to the file to upload. You can preview the file and its size before sending. |

If needed, click X to remove an attachment. |
Attach a file to an email message
Attachments to emails can be inline with the email body or attached to an email message.
Before you begin
- The maximum file size, file formats, and maximum number of files that you can upload are configured by your administrator.
- Attachments that don’t fulfill the PCI (Payment Card Industry) rule are dropped and grayed out. Click the information icon to see the error message with the reason.

Click the Attachment icon and browse to the file to upload. You can preview the file and its size before sending. |
