Create a schedule

A time schedule establishes a set of times during the day or holidays in the year in which a feature, for example auto attendants, can perform a specific action.

Schedule names and event names need to be unique.

2

Select a location, and click the Calling tab.

3

Go to the Calling features settings section and select Schedules.

4

Under Schedule Type, select Business Hours to determine the schedule for your working hours during the day, and do the following:

  • Select the days that your business is open.

  • Specify the opening hours for each day.

  • If your business has a lunch break, select the lunch break and edit the hours that apply to every business day.

  • Click Save.

  • Check the check box if the Holiday is an All Day event.

  • In Holiday Duration, select the Day or Date, and enter the details depending on the recurrence.

Create a schedule for multiple locations

To Allow multi-location schedule management using bulk import/export of Schedule & Events CSV across locations.

Known limitations and requirements

  • Before uploading your Schedule/Events CSV, make sure to read Bulk provisioning Webex Calling elements using CSV to understand the CSV conventions.

  • You can either export your current Schedule/Events, which allows you to add, delete, or modify your existing data set, or you can export a sample set of Schedule/Events. Once modified, the file can be uploaded through the bulk features.

Exporting CSV file into ZIP file format: When exporting data to a CSV file, the number of records may exceed 1000. In such cases, the ZIP file is downloaded, where the ZIP file contains the fullset of record(s) in a single CSV file. A separate folder containing all the data is broken down into multiple CSV files with less than 1000 records. These files are generated for the administrators to quickly import any updates and upload.

  • It’s important to know the mandatory and optional columns, and information that you’ll need to provide when filling out the CVS template. The specific fields for the Schedule/Events CSV are found in the table below.

  • The maximum amount of rows is 1,000 (not including the header).

  • Each row can hold a maximum of 10 events.
