You can require that Webex Meetings and Webex Events (new) attendees register before they can join. This provides enhanced security and allows you to obtain information from your attendees.
When you require that your attendees register for a meeting or event, you can do the following before and during the session:
View a list of attendees to determine whether they have registered for the meeting or event.
Obtain attendees' names, email addresses, and other information before they can join the meeting or event.
Accept or reject individual registration requests.
If you invite someone to a meeting or event that requires registration, they receive an invitation email message that includes the following:
Information about the meeting or event.
A link to register for the meeting or event.
A random registration ID for the event, if you selected this option.
To set up required registration for your meeting or event:
Sign in to your Webex site, then select Schedule a meeting or Schedule an event.
After entering your meeting or event information, select.
Under Registration, select Required.
(Optional) To customize the registration form to obtain additional information about each attendee, complete the steps in Customize the Webex Meetings and Webex Events (new) registration form.
Once one or more attendees have registered for the meeting, you can preview the registration form, but you can’t edit it.
If no one has registered, you can uncheck the Require attendee registration check box and edit the custom registration form.
If you uncheck the Require attendee registration check box after one or more attendees have registered for the meeting, all registrations are deleted. If you check the Require attendee registration check box again, the registration form defaults to the standard registration form with the attendee’s name and email address.
