How do I handle dedicated ports (until supported by the CCA-SP portal)?
How are sites with dedicated ports assigned a Telephony Domain (TD) and Call Back Group (CBG)?
Presently, Dedicated Ports are not populated into the CCA-SP Portal because the Portal discovers sites from their presence on the CCA-SP Ports Subscription (aggregation) for each contract. To assign or reassign a Telephony Domain (TD) and Call Back Group (CBG) for each Dedicated Ports Site, request the Cisco Support to submit a Provisioning Operations ticket.
Workaround for the CCA-SP Portal to support a Dedicated Port:
Action | Workaround Solution |
Create new Telephony Domain/Callback Group in the CCA-SP Portal for new Dedicated Port customers | This process does not change. Creating new TD/CBG is the same as current shared port customers. After the TD/CBG creation, they can be sent to the operation team for new Webex site creation. |
Edit Telephony Domain/Callback Groups in the CCA-SP Portal for new Dedicated Port customers | A dedicated port customer site will not show up in the CCA-SP Portal; however, their TD and CBG can still be edited, and the changes will apply to their site. |
Move site among different Telephony Domains/Callback Groups | Since a dedicated port site cannot show up in the CCA-SP Portal, moving the site will not be possible using the portal. A provisioning ticket (work order) should be submitted to the Provisioning team. |
View CCA Usage Reports | A Dedicated Port customer report will not show up in the CCA-SP Portal. Use CDR for usage reports. |
