Partners and customers can remove licenses from inactive users, either one-by-one or in bulk via CSV.

Remove a license from an individual user

Sign in to Control Hub.

Click on Users and select a user from the list.

Scroll down to the Licenses section and click Edit Licenses ro review the licenses assigned to the user.

Click Edit Licenses and check or uncheck the license assignments.

Click Save.

Sign in to Control Hub.

Go to Users and sort for the users you want to manage.

Click the downward arrow access button drop down next to Add users, then select Manage users by CSV > Generate a new CSV.

In the CSV file, remove Columns that will not be updated

Leave the First name, Last Name, and User ID/Email (Required) columns.

Delete any columns that you did not modify. Columns that you remove from the file do not have any chance of altering data. This measure protects you from inadvertently modifying users' services.

Update license values to FALSE and save the CSV file.

Return to the Manage users by CSV page and do one of the following:

  • Click Choose a file to select the CSV file from your desktop.
  • Drag and drop the modified CSV file into the window.

Click Upload to upload the modified file.
