ISSUE
Users encounter an 'Incorrect Meeting Password' error when attempting to join a Webex meeting. This error prevents access to the meeting, causing delays and disruptions.

Important Note
If you need the password for your meeting or have yet to receive an email invitation, you can contact your meeting host for help. For assistance, please see WBX71898—How Do I Contact the Host of My Meeting. 

Webex Technical Support cannot access meeting passwords, provide password assistance, or resend meeting invitations.

RESOLUTION

Per risolvere i problemi di password della riunione:

• Accedere dal collegamento nell'invito e-mail
  • In questo modo, la password della riunione verrà inserita automaticamente per conto dell'utente.
  • Le notifiche e-mail automatiche spesso contengono la password esatta trasmessa dal servizio Webex al momento della creazione della riunione.
  • Se non si dispone di un invito e-mail o tale invito è andato perso, provare a farsi invitare nuovamente dall'organizzatore dall'interno della riunione.

If you are manually entering the password:  

• Inserire la password ESATTAMENTE come mostrato nell'invito e-mail. La password può includere punti o caratteri speciali all'inizio o alla fine.
• Controllare i tasti MAIUSC e Bloc Num tasti sulla tastiera. Passwords are case-sensitive, and these settings will alter the passwords you enter.
• Accertarsi di non inserire una "I" o una "L"anziché un numero "1".  Depending on the font in the notification email, these characters may all look alike, but the logic behind each character is very different. This will cause errors in your password entry.
• Se non si è certi, copiare e incollare la password dall'invito e-mail.

If you copy and paste the password from the invitation email:

• Verificare di aver selezionato l'intera password e non selezionare caratteri o spazi aggiuntivi.
• È possibile copiare e incollare la password in Blocco note per verificarne la correttezza.

If none of the above works:

• Contattare l'organizzatore della riunione per la password.

CAUSE
Possible causes for the 'Incorrect Meeting Password' error include:

1. The password needed to be typed correctly.
2. È stata ricevuta una password errata dall'organizzatore.
3. Invalid data in your web browser cache.
4. A technical issue interferes with your meeting access (though this is less likely).
