Error: 'Your email address is associated with another WebEx account' while sharing a recording.
Unable to share a recording to an external user.
If the recording is secured and has Require users to sign in enable, and when the host shares the recording with an external user outside their company an error: 'Your email address is associated with another WebEx account' appears.
To resolve this issue:
- log in to your Webex site.
- Click on My Webex in the top navigation bar.
- Click on the My Recordings tab.
- Select the Recording, click the Modify button.
- Under Access Settings > Security: > Uncheck Require users to sign in.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Save.
