Authorize service apps for Bring Your Own Virtual Agent (BYOVA)

Webex Contact Center solution uses virtual agents for the self-service portfolio. Third-party AI vendors develop and host their service apps for the virtual voice agent. To use these virtual agents, you must authorize the vendor-specific service apps in Control Hub.

Sign in to Control Hub.

Navigate to Management > Apps, then select the Service Apps tab.

Choose the required service app.

To authorize the service app you need to purchase the SKU for the service app.

Your organization must have the required subscription for the BYOVA service app before you can authorize it.

Enable the Authorization toggle.

Check the following fields on the service app:

  • Scopes—Access level definitions for the chosen service app.
  • Data Exchange Schemas—Schema definition for the service app use case.
  • Data Exchange Domains—Authorized domain of the URL for which you need the connection.

Click Save.
