Error 104' when joining or starting a session

Error: 'Setup was unsuccessful. Please try again. Error [104]'

I receive error 104 when trying to join a Webex session.


Solution:

Follow the steps below to resolve the issue:

Note: If you do not have permissions to download files or do not have permission to install software, contact your IT department for further assistance.

  1. Uninstall the Webex meeting software from your computer, see:
  2. Download, extract and run the Meeting Services Removal Tool.
     
  3. Install the Webex meeting software using the manual installer.
  4. Exit and restart any open web browsers, then try to join the session again.

If the issue persists, contact Webex Technical Support.
