Forward calls
To avoid missing calls when you're away from office or your line is busy, set the phone to redirect incoming calls to an alternative phone number.
You can use one of the following call forwarding services on the phones that are deployed on Webex Calling or Cisco BroadWorks:
-
Forward all—Forward all incoming calls to the destination phone number.
-
Forward busy—Forward incoming calls to the destination phone number when the line is busy.
-
Forward no answer—Forward incoming calls to the destination phone number when the call isn't answered.
The icon on a line indicates that all incoming calls on this line are redirected to another number. You can also find the destination number near line name or number.
On a phone with a single line, you can directly set up the call forwarding on the line. However, if your phone has multiple lines, the call forwarding setting varies according to your administrator's configurations in the call control system.
If your administrator has configured the Feature Key Sync (FKS) or BroadWorks XSI on your lines, you can redirect incoming calls on a specific line to an alternate number. Otherwise, your call forwarding setting applies to all lines even though you turn on the call forwarding on a designated line.
