Provision Webex Go
Webex Go BYOD is provisioned by adding a Webex Go device to an existing PSTN enabled Webex Calling subscriber.
Webex Go Mobile Operator is provisioned by requesting authentication and activation of mobile number from the mobile operator and then assigning it to a specific Webex Calling subscriber as their primary line (replacing their fixed business number).
Prerequisites:

User should have Webex Calling professional license.

The user should be in a US, UK, or France location. Additional country support is coming soon.
Follow the steps below to add a Webex Go device to a user from the Users tab in Control Hub. Watch this video demonstration on how to add Webex Go to users in Control Hub.

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Users.

Select the User that you want to generate an activation code for.

Scroll down to Devices and click ...

Select Add Webex Go Device.

On the Add Webex Go Device page, select the Subscription ID and the Phone Number from their respective drop-down list.
Select the Subscription ID, if there are multiple subscriptions with Webex Go licenses.
Select the Phone Number if the user doesn’t have an assigned primary number.

The activation code along with instructions to enable the device is emailed directly to the user.
The single use activation code expires after 90 days.
If organization settings are set to suppress emails, you have the option to copy, email, or print the alphanumeric activation code and send it to the user.

From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Devices.

Click on Add Device, and select the Existing User option.

Search for the user you'd like to assign the device to, then click Next.

Select Webex Go Device.

The activation code along with instructions to enable the device will be emailed directly to the user.

Download the template from Devices→ Add Device → Import/Upload CSV file → Download CSV template to get the correct Webex Go subscription in the file.

Add the list of users who need to be provisioned with Webex Go. Complete the username, extension number, phone number, location columns and set the device type to WEBEX_CALLING, the model column to Webex Go Device and the Webex Go Subscription column to TRUE.

Once complete, save your CSV file.

Go back into the bulk add devices screen and click Import to upload the CSV file.

Before clicking submit, select the radio button for email activation code, ensuring that the end-user will receive an email with the activation code and instructions. Click submit when done.

Use these steps to add Webex Go Mobile Operator numbers in the Control Hub.
- From the customer view in https://admin.webex.com, go to Services, and choose .
- Click .
- Choose a location from the Location drop-down menu.Make sure to request that mobile numbers are added to the correct location of the desired Webex Calling subscriber for it to be assignable.
- Choose Mobile number for the Number type.

Choose the Mobile operator.
This is the business account number provided by the mobile operator for the company provided mobile plan.Once the entry in these two fields matches, the Next button is enabled. - Enter the Operator account ID and Confirm operator account ID.
It is recommended that you contact your mobile operator to make sure the entered operator account ID contact can receive message to authorize the request.
- Click Next.
- Click Confirm on the Operator account ID confirmation screen.Once confirmed, Operator account ID can’t be changed later.
Upon confirmation, a message with account ID authorization pending status and to check back in 48 hrs is displayed.
Authorization status Description Action Pending Operator account ID authorization is pending. This may take up to 48 hrs to complete. Contact your mobile carrier if your mobile admin hasn't received an authorization request or authorization response. Failed Operator account ID authorization has failed. Contact your mobile operator. Authorized Operator account ID authorization is successful You may now add the mobile numbers. - Perform one of the following;
- If you know the mobile number, enter each mobile number to be added separated by a comma. You can add up to 20 numbers.
Numbers are automatically validated when you add a comma or press Save and continue.
Numbers with issues are highlighted in red. Hovering over numbers shows a tooltip with information on why the validation failed for those numbers.
If the mobile admin isn't able to resolve the issue with the mobile number, raise a support case using the Open support case link.
- If you don’t know the mobile number, click the Open support case link and we’ll provision the mobile numbers.
- If you know the mobile number, enter each mobile number to be added separated by a comma.
Once the numbers are provisioned successfully either through Control Hub or using support case, you’ll see the mobile phone number in the numbers lists. You’ll also see a badge by the number to indicate that it’s a Webex Mobile number.
What to do next?
Assign the mobile number to a user.
Once your Webex Go Mobile Operator numbers are added in the number management inventory in the Control Hub, you can then assign them to your users.

Click Add Number under Directory Numbers. If a primary number is already assigned, click Primary to replace the primary number with the Webex Mobile number. |

Next to Phone number, use the drop-down to select the mobile number to assign. The drop-down list includes all available numbers to assign. In your numbers list in Control Hub (Webex Mobile tags help filter the list to see which mobile numbers are available to assign to your users. ), the

Click Save. The Webex Go mobile device is automatically assigned to the user and available to view on the user's Devices tab.
