list-menuFeedback?

ISSUE
Users encounter the error message 'Adding to the calendar is not currently supported on mobile devices' when attempting to add a Webex meeting to their calendar directly from an email invitation on a mobile device.

RESOLUTION
To add a Webex meeting to your mobile calendar, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Webex meeting invitation email on your mobile device.
  2. Scroll down to the bottom of the invite to locate the .ics file, which is the calendar file format used by many email and calendar programs.
  3. Download the .ics file by tapping on it. Your mobile device should prompt you to open or save the file.
  4. Once the .ics file is downloaded, tap on the 'SAVE TO CALENDAR' or a similar button that may appear, depending on your specific mobile device and calendar app.
  5. The calendar application should open, allowing you to review the meeting details.
Could you confirm any prompts to save or add the event to your calendar?

Following these steps will add the Webex meeting to your mobile device's calendar. You should then be able to view the event details and receive reminders as set by the meeting organizer.

CAUSE
The error occurs because the 'Add to Calendar' feature within the Webex email invitation is incompatible with the mobile device's native email client or calendar application. This limitation prevents the meeting details from being directly added to the user's calendar.
