There will always be a software support for a device during its full lifetime. The end of support of a product also marks the end of the software support for that specific product. This does not mean end of support of the software itself, as it may still be supported for other products.
All hardware is supported for five years after an end of sale announcement. During this time, the software has full support for the first two years. Full support after the end of sale announcement means that bug fixes, security improvements, and new features are delivered for these products. There may be limitations to which features will be provided for the products that have reached end of sale. For the last three years, we offer limited software support. Limited support means that critical bug fixes and security improvements are delivered if possible.
Cloud connectivity is offered for five years after the end of sale announcement. After the end of support, Cisco can no longer guarantee that the device will continue to function and connect to the Cisco Webex cloud. This impacts calling, features, services, applications, and management. When the device loses its cloud connection, it will happen without notice.
