Call using a dialpad or turn a chat conversation into a call using Microsoft Teams for Windows, Mac, Android, iPhone, iPad or Web browser. Call your directory-synchronized and Outlook contacts, or other custom contacts, and add these contacts as speed dials. See the tabs below for more information.

First Time Users—Permissions

When you first use the Cisco app (or sign out of Microsoft Teams), you're asked to grant permissions to search contacts and interact with Microsoft Teams, and enter your username and password to verify.

Missed a call in Webex and want to see who it was? Or, you might just need an easy way to get back to someone you've talked to before. Access your Recent Calls from your desktop or mobile app to see every Webex call you made, received, and missed.

Speed Dial Improvements

  • You can now add contact names and phone numbers outside of your Azure Active Directory and Outlook contacts, so you can save that local pizza place as a speed dial for those Friday afternoons!

  • If a contact has more than one number, you can now select which number to save as your speed dial number.

Make a Video Call

Now you can choose between audio or video calls.

Interactive Voice Response (IVR) dialpad

You can now access the dialpad in an audio or video call, giving you full Dual-Tone Multi-Frequency (DTMF) support.

Make a call using the dial pad or from a conversation space. The system automatically dials the phone number assigned to the contact. If there's not a phone number to dial, the assigned email address is used.

Before you begin

Make sure your administrator or your team space owner has installed the Webex app in Microsoft Teams. If it's installed, you'll see the Webex Call icon in the app bar.

When you're chatting with someone, click Webex Call at the bottom of the window.

Select the default number under the contact to get more calling options in the drop-down menu.

Click Call.

The app opens in a new window.
You can make a call to a number, Azure active directory or Outlook contact using your Webex Calling integration for Microsoft Teams with the dial pad.

Before you begin

Make sure your administrator or your team space owner has installed the Webex Call app in Microsoft Teams.

In the team space, on the app bar, click Webex Call.End User Portal

The system automatically dials the phone number assigned to the contact, if available. Otherwise, the assigned email address is used.

Start typing a name, telephone number, or video address of the person you want to call.

Typing a name searches your directory-synchronized and personal Outlook contacts.

Click on the suggested contact you want to call.

Click Audio or Video to connect.

Add and manage up to 25 contacts as speed dials from your Azure active directory and Outlook contacts, so you can call your most frequent contacts quickly and easily with your Cisco Webex Calling integration in Microsoft Teams. The app saves your speed dials to your Microsoft 365 profile. The indicator next to the speed dial title indicates when speed dials are being saved to the Microsoft cloud. You can also add custom speed dials for contacts not in your Azure active directory or Outlook contacts.

In the team space, on the app bar, click Webex Call.

Click Add a speed dial.

Start typing a name to search for a contact to add the speed dial, or create a new speed dial.

Perform one of the following:

  • Adding an Outlook or Azure active directory contact—Select the contact, choose the number from the drop-down, and click Add.

  • Adding a custom contact—Click Create new speed dial and enter the Name and Phone, and click Add.


 

The Name field has a maximum character limit of 100, and the Phone field has a maximum character limit of 50.

Manage your speed dials in the following ways:

  • Arrange your speed dials on the screen—Click and drag your speed dials to change the order of how they appear on the screen.

  • Remove a speed dial contact—On the contact card, click the ellipses and click Remove from speed dial.

  • Edit a custom contact—On the contact card, click the ellipses and click Edit speed dial.

Your Recent Calls shows you if someone called from their work or mobile number, so you can call them back at the same number. If there isn't a number under the person's name, it was a Webex call.

Go to Webex Call.

Scroll through Recent Calls to view your call history.

Hover over a call and click audio call or video call to make a call.


 

Click dial pad to make a call using the dial pad.

Tap on the number displayed to open options to call, and then select the number.
