Only calls made to and received on desk phones, analog telephone adapters, or the Webex Calling app are recorded. Calls to and from the Webex Teams app are not automatically recorded.

From the Webex Calling app, go to , and then select Pause Recording.

When you're ready to record again, go to , and then select Resume Recording.


 

You can also pause and resume the recording from your multiplatform phone using either of the following methods:

  • You can use the Pause and Resume softkeys on your phone display.

  • You can use the following star codes:

    1. Place the call on hold, press *48 to pause the recording, and then resume the call.

    2. Place the call on hold, press *49 to resume the recording, and then resume the call.
